Since we are nearing her 6 month birthday, I decided to start rice cereal this morning. I wanted to wait and do it on a Saturday, so Corby could be there to experience this first. It took her a while to get used to it, but in the end, I think she liked it. She wasn't too fond of the clean-up process until I started making noises with each wipe of the face, and then she was great. I plan on doing the cereal for at least a week, and then we'll move on to veggies. I'm so excited about making her baby food!!! I know, it's silly, but it's something I've been really excited about. We had so much fun this morning as a family! I love doing new things with little Harper!!!

What a big girl! Goooo Harper!
how fun?! We gave B a small bite of my apple sauce today and he LOVED it. I am still holding out until he's 6 months to start anything, but we just wanted to see what he would do. Harper is just SO cute!
Can't believe she's old enough to be eating already!! The pictures are priceless......I especially love her face in the 4th one...what a look of satisfaction!!.....like so this is what they've been keeping from me!!:)

I hope she loves her foods as much a Cilla does! It has been soooo much fun feeding her solids! I get so excited to see what she will like and watching her experience new things! I get a weird thrill out of making baby food, too! The things that bring us joy these days!
