Summer is in full swing, and Harper and I are having a blast! This week she is enjoying VBS in the mornings at a nearby church. She has several friends in her class, and she wakes up each morning asking if it's time to go yet. She loves it! Last week, she took swim lessons. She did really well. We will do more than one week next summer, because I don't think she's ready yet this summer. She wears her puddle jumper vest and has the time of her life! We've gone to the pool almost every day since it opened! Because she isn't napping any more, we're able to go for longer stretches of time...which is awesome!
Other than the pool, we're (hopefully) about to begin remodeling the bathrooms. If you've been to our house, you know they need it in a desperate way! We had our first bid consultation today, and I'm really hoping we're able to go with him! His son is in Harper's class at school, and they are great friends. He has done several projects for other friends, and I've seen his work...it's amazing! If you know about our previous remodeling contractor, then you know I'm leery of using someone we don't know. It would be really great to have someone trustworthy working in our home this time around! But the Corbster wants us to get several bids...which I completely understand... I just wish I knew more people to call instead of choosing someone random from our neighborhood magazine! I can't wait for this to get started!!! The yellow tile has GOT TO GO!!!

as hard as this age is, I love every second of it. I'm slightly jealous of your every day pool outings. Our wading pool in teh backyard is a far cry from the zero entry pool we had a membership to last summer!
