I surprised Corby with a night at the Great Wolf Lodge for father's day. You're able to go way before check-in and stay the whole day that you check out, so we had so much time at the water park! There were several different areas, and they were all so much fun! Harper's favorite area was the kiddie area with small slides. She did the same slide at least 30 times today! It was fascinating! Corby rode all of the adult slides multiple times as well. Pregnant women were advised to stay off of them, but I had to break that rule. Not showing very much really payed off! I carries the tube in front of me, and then had a blast on the slide! I only broke the rule twice. We went to a story time last night and thought we'd have a great night of sleep. Unfortunately, Harper got sick in the night. We still aren't sure what happened because it only happened once. The especially unfortunate part is that she had a red snow cone that afternoon.... poor housekeeping staff! She woke up in good spirits, so we went ahead and enjoyed our scheduled breakfast. You got to meet the characters of the lodge while eating... Harper loved it! We had a full day at the water park and ended with a nice dinner as a family!
I hope that Corby truly felt celebrated.... He really is such a great dad! Harper and I are extremely thankful for his dedication to our family!!!
