My 88-year-old Gran-D got married on Memorial Day weekend... and it was so great! I don't have too many pictures but I know the photographer got a ton! My new grandpa is one of the most precious men I've ever met! I had such a strong love for my Papops, but he passed away 17 years ago, so I am just so happy that Gran-D has a companion! They knew each other in the late '40's and shared a duplex when they were young marrieds. He and his wife moved away, but she passed away last summer, and I think Gran-D's sympathy card is what brought her back to Bob's mind. Their wedding was so special. My brother-in-law officiated it, and he did such a great job! He honored both of their previous spouses, which I'm sure made Bob's children really happy... as I'm sure that day was both happy and sad for them. Harper, Eliana, and one of his great granddaughters were the flower girls, and they did a great job. The reception was at the church and was very low-key. The cake was delicious, which is all that really matters, anyway...right?!?! Then the newlyweds headed out for a short honeymoon to Eureka Springs! They had a great time! We're so thankful that Gran-D now has a companion and friend to keep her company...and for her to boss around! :)

Heading out! When Bob got in, he revved the engine a few times!
It was hilarious!

Oh my word. I'm dying that he revved the engine. I would have peed my pants right there. So glad it went well!
