Girls of Grace

Today, we went up to Allen for the Girls of Grace conference, which is put on by the Christian singing group, Point of Grace. My brother-in-law Chris is the host and one of the speakers, so we loved getting to be there to hear him. Harper had a blast hanging out with him backstage. And I had fun stalking Jason Castro, who was one of the performers. Harper isn't the only American Idol fan around here!!! Chris did such a great job! I wish I could've heard his message as a teenager! I took a few pictures during our time...so here they are!



His talk was called "Wait for steak", and during it, he grilled a steak! Pretty great example comparing beef jerky to boys and steak to men!



Harper did a pretty good job sitting still and listening. We did have to leave the room when she started yelling, "you see uncle chris? I see uncle chris?" It was precious but obviously distracting!



I have no shame when it comes to people that I consider celebrities!

Sweet girl fell asleep the moment we got in the car! She was worn out from her big day!!! Being the only child at a pretty large event must've been exhausting! She's not used to that much attention!
