Thankfully our flights went well. I learned all of the parts of the wing since the guy next to me works on planes. He also talked the whole time. Did I mention the flight was only half full and there were EMPTY rows behind us?!? Oh well, I got a lot of laughs out of it! And on the way home, the couple behind us were talking about their guest bedroom, and the wife obviously hated his idea, because she screamed at him! It lasted for so long, and I felt so sorry for him. I never want to be a nagging wife (the Bible is clear about how awful that is) and this was another reminder! Anyway, at least Harper and I had fun on the plane!
I didn't get too many pictures because I didn't bring my good camera. But I have a few phone pics. We went to the zoo, and I must say, it wasn't as awful as I had remembered it! The indoor monkey cages still made me sad, but a lot of the areas have been updated. Harper loves animals, so she had a blast! Other than that, we shopped a little, went to the high school basketball game, and ate at my favorite places! It was good to be there!

Coloring on the plane

Hanging out with Gran-D!

She loved the elephants, Mary and Ellen.
She talked about them all day long!
Another point of interest...they are the same age as my mom!

Checking out the gorilla with Kay-Kay and Papa G!

And then she crashed! This never happens!

Napping on Kay-Kay...this also never happens!

Playing "horsey" with Gran-D...
an incredible leg workout for my grandma!

Looks like y'all had so much fun! Who wouldn't love a trip to the zoo and Buffalo Grill (A Vinsant-family fave as well)?
I'm a little terrified to try to fly with Spencer without another adult--good for you!
So.....thanks for the shout-out!:) At least you didn't say we're the same weight!!
Love the pictures.....it was so fun having you home!
