We went to bed last night knowing there was a chance of snow, but I honestly didn't expect much to happen. I was wrong...again! We got about 4-5 inches and it's still coming down. Since I knew Harper wouldn't be interested in the ice earlier in the week, today was our first time to get out and "play" in the snow. She was mad from the start because she had to wear her boots, so she didn't enjoy it very much! But Dadda came to her rescue and let her ride on his shoulders.
It really is so beautiful, but I'm going a little stir crazy...even though we did leave the house yesterday! I think knowing I can't leave just makes it worse! Plus, snow days put me in the mood to cook, so I feel like I've gained 30 lbs this week! But I am trying to enjoy this time at home with Harper, doing things we don't normally do!
