Easter weekend was a great time for our family to be together. We enjoyed an egg hunt on Saturday that was put on by a local church. They dropped the eggs from a helicopter. And while that was a neat idea, it seems the scotch tape didn't quite keep the eggs together. So when Harper went to search for eggs, she wanted whole eggs....she got 1 single egg. She had tears in her eyes, but we acted like that 1 egg was the best thing that's ever happened to her, so she was happy in the end. At least it was pink, right? Plus, they had so many other activities, we quickly distracted her. She decorated a cookie (and quickly ate it), got her face painted, and jumped in several bounce houses. That afternoon we dyed eggs, and she had a blast. It isn't a messy activity with her, so we all enjoyed it! Sunday was wonderful. We had brunch with our small group, who is our Dallas family. Then we enjoyed church together that evening. It was such a great weekend together, celebrating our risen Savior.
Quite the look of determination!
