The Hen is 3 months old!

Henny Penny... you are 3 months old!!! 

Here is what your life looks like right now...

-You weigh 10 pounds

-You wear 0-3 clothes and still fit in a few newborn pajamas

-You recently moved to size 1 diapers...but they cover half of your torso! :) 

-You sleep like a champ! 8pm-7am...with usually one wake up. I rarely get up and feed you because you quickly fall back asleep. You nap great too! You are usually awake for an hour or so after eating, and then you go back down for usually 2 hours. 

-When you're awake, you are SO happy! You love your playmat and will bat at your hippo for hours! 

-You have the sweetest smile! And you are very quick to give it out! 

-You eat very well... 5 times a day, drinking 5-6 ounces at a time. We are determined to make sure you are in the right percentile at your 4 month check-up! 

-You do spit up a lot, but you did that when you were not getting enough milk too... so I'm suspecting that it's reflux and not overeating, like her doctor suggested at the 2 month appt. 

-You survived your first illness, the flu! I knew I'd pass it on, but I had hoped it wouldn't go to Henley. Thankfully, it wasn't very bad at all, for either of us. She only had fever for a day and a half, and her congestion never settled in her chest. She didn't eat nearly as much, but she ate enough to keep us out of the hospital. She didn't take her medicine very well...kind of became a game each time I had to give it to her. 

-Some of her nicknames are "the hen", "henny penny", and of course, the very popular, "mrs skinny legs"

-She still has blue eyes and fairly light hair (if we can call it that!)

-Your sister is still pretty obsessed with you, and the feeling is mutual! You will stare at her for hours! 

We love you, Henley!!! You are such a sweet addition to our family!
