Our Thanksgiving is being spent at my mom's...which wasn't the plan. But we also didn't plan on my mom needing emergency gall bladder surgery on Tuesday! So we packed up all of the food I had bought and took Henley's first road trip. She did extremely well!
We have had a great day together as a family. We enjoyed a nice brunch and then a delicious dinner. We're not too traditional, so our meal consisted of filets, twice baked potatoes, green bean bundles, and mushrooms! None of us are big turkey fans! We ended our meal by sharing 3 things we were each thankful for. If you know much about my family, you know that hard stuff follows us. So it was such a great reminder of God's faithfulness in each of our lives. We certainly have so much to be thankful for!
