Advent activities...

I thought it would be fun to do some sort of activity each day with Harper to lead up to Jesus' birth. Some are fun for her, but most are to help others. Here's the calendar I made...



And here is what we've done so far...

Day 1: Harper got to open a new ornament. Growing up, my mom would give us each an ornament that represented something we did that year. I still love looking at them when I'm at my mom's house. So we are doing the same thing with our kids! This is Harper's 2011 ornament...




Day 2: Tonight we went to the mall to choose an angel from the angel tree. Harper enjoyed picking out clothes and toys for her angel.
