A lover of all things American!

Thanks to my fabulous friend, LC, Harper has been introduced to the presidents of the US. She has 4 finger puppets and one large doll. She takes Abe with her in the car, along with "Lysses" (Ulysses Grant)...and plays with George, Thomas, and little Abe at home. Yes, it's very patriotic of her! I know Auntee LC is extremely proud!

Being patriotic is in my genes (shout out KK!), but music is too! And I don't think it gets much better than American Idol...and Harper wholeheartedly agrees! She asks to watch it every day. We can't watch it live because she goes nuts during commercials! She claps after every performance and always yells "yay!" Thanks to DVR, she can watch AI any time she wants (within reason!). When we returned a gift we had gotten her for her birthday yesterday, I let her choose something in it's place. I showed her so many princess dresses, games, purses...but none of it would do...she had to have the microphone! So she now sings in her microphone any chance she gets!
