If there is one thing that Annalise can't wait for, it would be her wedding. Ever since she saw our wedding pictures, she likes to talk about her wedding. So tonight at dinner, she and Corby hashed out all of the details for the big day. It took so much for me to not bust out laughing at some of her answers... it was one of the funniest conversations I have ever heard. The date hasn't necessarily been set, but with all of the details figured out, the date won't be a problem! I will try to remember everything they talked about, but I know I will leave something out!
The Groom: OBVIOUSLY Luke - he knows this but has no clue what being a husband entails
Luke's Wardrobe: plain shoes, plain shirt, and plain pants
Her Dress: It will look like the one she's currently wearing (a gold Cinderella dress)
The maid of honor: Hattie (one of her friends here in Dallas)
The Flower girl: Oh... that would be me! Won't that be quite a sight!
The ring bearer: Naturally... Corby
Location: It will be like Cinderella's Ball
Minister: MARE! We got a kick out of this one... looks like you need to get ordained...
Some of the guests: Chris and LC - that's all she could think of (consider yourself lucky!)
First Dance: The ABC's.... I about peed in my pants when she said that!
Food: Cake, with pink and purple icing and broccoli sandwiches (sick!)
Transportation after reception: horse carriage with a pink, purple, and brown horse
Honeymoon: First she said Ohio and then changed it to Florida
Place of residence: Dallas
Occupation: He will be a plain Carpenter and she will be a Princess Carpenter
Cars: 2 cars... one pink and one purple
# of kids: 2 girls (Saylor and Harper) 1 boy (Sal)
That is all I can remember... even though I know there was so much more. They talked about it for so long!
But we certainly hope that everyone will be able to make it!

Pretty sure this is the funniest thing ever! I feel so honored to officiate their wedding! HA! I'll start looking online at Internet ordaining coarses in 2027!

That is so precious!! She is one hilarious girl.....with some definite ideas about things!! I can't wait to be there. Please keep us updated! Love, Kay-Kay
Thats the funniest thing I ever read. I love that she wants to dance to the ABC'S!
Broccoli Sandwiches!??! That might be the sickest thing I have ever heard of!! But, a girls got to dream!
Lauren.... That was the funniest thing I have read in recent days. It just brightened my Saturday. There is something about innocence that is so compelling. I'm sure that Corby engaged her in a way to just "pull" those answers out. Love, Dad
I cannot wait to be there. I hate broccoli though. Do you think I could work on a remix to the ABCs for her? Just to spice it up a bit?
Also, what the hell is a princess carpenter?
Oh....that is SO CUTE!!! I can't wait to see Mare officiating the wedding. Also, love that she wants them to be carpenters.
Please make sure I get invited! Flint and I want to witness the 40 year olds as the flower girl and ring bearer! She is something else!
In my head, I am trying to go through the dance steps to the "ABC Song"... Priceless!
