We went to Kanakuk's family camp at the beginning of June. It was the most relaxing kid-vacation we've ever been on. There are tons of activities each day, but you can any or none of them... it was awesome! We went with some of our great friends, the Harris'. Harper and Cilla are 2 days a part and are such sweet friends! They get along so well, so it made the trip even easier! We enjoyed canoeing, the ropes course, the rock wall, dressing up as the Wonder Pets for the super hero party and pilgrims and Indians for the holiday party, meeting fabulous college students who loved on our kids all week, connecting with other adults from all over the U.S., and just spending time together as a family. The girls had two big chunks of time during each day to be with their counselors, so Corby and I got so much quality time together. It was fabulous! We highly recommend it to anyone considering a vacation like this... and if you want to join us next summer, sign up for term 2!
