My mom called a couple of weeks ago to see if Harper could come visit her for a week. So I took her to Texarkana today to meet my mom and brother-in-law, Mike. She was absolutely beside herself when they pulled up! We ate dinner, and then they were off! I did get a kiss and a "bye mom"... but that's about it! And yes, she calls me "mom" now and sounds like she's 10 when she says it!
She's going to have such a fun week! She'll be in Little Rock for a few days and then will go to Nashville for her cousin's birthday party! Because we are driving to Destin soon, I couldn't drive to both places... so I'm so thankful Harper gets to go now! I'm pretty sure she will not be happy about coming home next week! The one good thing is that just a few days after her being home, we'll be going to Destin for her to spend more time with the fam! So hopefully she won't be too unhappy to see us!
Yay for having an awesome and thoughtful mom! I am definitely so thankful for her, and I do not take one minute of my time alone for granted! I have a few things planned, and I'm hoping to be productive in Henley's room too... but we'll see. I very well could end up on the couch each day, watching movies every day.
