Birthdays and Tears

Life got in the way of blogging. In the last week and a half, I turned 29, my sister turned 32, our sweet foster son went to live with a relative, and I've lost a lot of sleep. I've also broken out on my forehead like a kid going through puberty. The stress of foster care does not look good on me! Thankfully it's calmed down a bit... just in time for Corby's 10 year high school reunion. Tomorrow is our 6th wedding anniversary, so you can assume I'm really excited that I get to spend it with a bunch of people I don't know. But seriously, I'm looking forward to meeting a few people I've heard about and then working hard not to share with other people the stuff I do know about them... thanks to all of the stories I get when I'm with Corby's friends (Shout out to Warren and Chris!). So there you have it... lots of birthday celebrations and a lot of tears when baby M left. But we're doing well, and most importantly, Harper hasn't missed a beat!
