Meet Lucy. She's the fabulous Great Dane that we kept last week. Her parents were going on a trip, and I couldn't stand the thought of her being kept at the kennel for a week! Most people who know me, know this was out of character for me. I'm not the biggest dog person in the world, mainly because I've never had one... but also that I'm usually allergic to them. But I'm so glad we invited her to come over. Harper had THE BEST time with her. She woke up every morning asking to go see her, and any time we came home, she would run to her crate and let her out. Yes, she is the size of a small horse, so that took some time to get used to, but she was so incredible sweet. She quickly became Harper's best friend!

i love danes. did you ever see our 2 that we had when we were doing cell together? they are the sweetest dogs. love the picture of her beside harper!
