A good time was had by all at the Fair today! The State Fair of Texas is a really big deal around here...it lasts 3 weeks! We thought it would be less crowded this afternoon because of the Cowboy's game, but we were wrong. Yes, Corby chose the Fair over watching the game! I think he had had enough football disappointment for the weekend, and he didn't want it to get worse! And had we stayed home, it would've been a rough afternoon for him! Harper had a blast looking at all of the animals. But her favorite part was Big Tex, the cowboy that welcomes you to the fair! We went to a dog show and a pig race, and she clapped and yelled "yay" the whole time! We also enjoyed some corn dogs and a funnel cake... so delicious! At first she was hesitant to try the funnel cake, but once she tried it, she couldn't get enough of it! Until next year, "bye bye Big Tex" (something she said the entire way home from the fair!)

Big Tex! Harper LOVED waving to him!

Hanging out with Boris... the 1200 pound pig!

She also loved the petting zoo!

Who doesn't love a bunch of baby pigs?!?!
I also had a picture of the newborn zebra, but it wouldn't load!
She was born today at 6am, and her sweet little legs were still wobbly!

She was LOVING the pig races!

Harper and all of the pigs (they're in the background)

Ending the night on a sweet note!
