A Rainy First Day of School

Mother's Day Out started yesterday, and the day went much better than I had anticipated! It was rainy, so I was worried I wouldn't have enough to entertain my kids in the class, since we couldn't go outside. But it all ended up being fine! Harper gladly walked into her classroom, and she did great until another little boy was upset. My room is connected with hers, so it was kind of hard to hear her crying and not be able to help. I really felt sorry for her teacher. Harper did great until nap time, but she did eventually sleep. The biggest shock of the day for everyone was the fact that I got my 4 to sleep at the same time!!! The moms were all so surprised since their kids had never slept in a room with other kids! All in all, the day went really well for both of us. I assume Harper will be less thrilled about drop-off tomorrow, but I'm prepared for it... I just hope her teacher is too! And unfortunately, she woke up with a little cold this morning! I hope it isn't bad tomorrow... I would feel awful having to get a sub on my first week! Here are a few pictures before heading out to school!
