Chunky Monkey

That picture really has nothing to do with this post... it is just one that I haven't posted yet, and I wanted you to see her precious swim suit! Thanks to the 104 degree heat, we try to go to the pool as often as we can! Oh how I wish I had one in my backyard!!!

Harper had her 4 month check-up yesterday... and she certainly has grown a lot since her 2 month! Obviously I expected that, but her weight just caught me by surprise.

Height: 24 1/4 (50%)
Weight: 13lb 14 oz (55%)
Head: 40 (15%)

Sweet thing has such a tiny head. We have been reassured that her head size has nothing to do with her brain capacity- that's good news! We'll be waiting to do cereal and solids until she is 6 months. Our doctor recommends it, and since we have had so many feeding issues, we all agree that it's best to wait. So I am great with that! Other than that, she is right on track developmentally and is cuter than ever!

We are just so thankful for our precious daughter. She is such a blessing to both of us, and I never want to take a single day for granted!

(And no, this isn't how I am wanting my blog header to look... I still can't figure out how to make the picture bigger!)

If Harper is Chunky Monkey, I hate to know the nickname of Brayden. Her measurements and weight are Brayden's exactly... at 2 months... LOL!

That's Noah's exact weight from 2 months, and he was 1/4 inch longer than that at 2 months :) Sweet Harper is just a dainty little thing compared to these big boys!

We waited until 1 week before 6 months to do solids, and I was really happy we did. No rush! Well we started cereal a few weeks earlier, but not consistently. And veggies at 6 mos.

She's a doll baby!

Um I love it that you called her chunky monkey. Actually not bc now I think Im going to CRY. My child is oh 3 weeks younger and oh 3 pounds heavier. Talk about chunky monkey. People stop me in the grocery store to tell me all about it and ask what i feed them. Oh how I wish he had a button on the back of him that I could push and let projectile spit up come. Oh I just read Mandys comment. I guess it's different since Harper is a girl. Ok Ok Ok. She IS dainty and so so so very precious. I think I'm going to hold off on food too. I just don't want to put a spoon to his face yet. I can't take it. Good to hear everything went well!!!
