This membership to the Arboretum is really useful! We only went out for an hour today to eat lunch, but it was a nice break away from the house. We probably would've stayed longer, but a pesky squirrel was feeling too comfortable with us and getting WAY too close for my liking. Let's be honest, squirrels kind of freak me out. So when he almost stepped onto our blanket, I packed things up, and we just walked around. And then when I was sweating buckets, I decided it was time for us to head home. It is only May 29, and it is blazing hot outside! Things aren't looking up for our summer here in Dallas! Here are some pictures from our short time outside today. Enjoy!
I love her sweet little smirk!
Who doesn't love the open mouth smile?!?!
Our new friend... the brave squirrel
I took a lot of flower pictures, and this was the only one I was actually proud of. I know NOTHING about my camera, so having that blurry background was honestly a mistake... but I loved it!
Not from the arboretum... just capturing a tired girl.
She fell sleep while being burped after her night time feeding.
Sweet thing didn't make a peep when we put her in bed!

ok, the squirrel is cracking me up! how'd you make it through UofA scared of squirrels???? Nice flower pic too-- you probably set your aperture lower, thus the blurry background.
Lauren,
I love your pictures! It is so fun
seeing the subtle changes in Harper
