Large and in Charge

Maybe I'm not THAT large... but it's certainly how I feel! Anyway, here I am at 38 weeks.

There's no need to make fun of my attempt at being artsy. I sort of have fun messing with photoshop, and this is what I came up with today. I know that I'm not very good at it, but practice makes perfect, right?!?!? I just figure that I need to get good at it since I have this great camera! 

I've been feeling as good as you can at 38 weeks... fairly uncomfortable, but I'm pretty sure that is expected. I've packed my bag and made a list of the last minute items to add to it, just in case Harper decides to surprise us and come early. Based on my doctor's appointment last week, it doesn't appear that she'll be coming early. I think she is quite comfortable in there and doesn't care to leave any time soon. Honestly, I don't really blame her. It's quite the life, if you really think about it! And although I am ready for her to be here, she has been instructed to stay put until next Monday. My mom and sisters are all going to New York City for the weekend, so I really don't want her coming while they are gone. Yes... you read that correctly... every one but me. I'm trying to not be jealous, but it's rather hard! Leah has some internship interviews (pray that they go well!), so they are making a small trip out of it. I really am excited that they get to "get away" for a few days (they all certainly deserve it!), I just wish the timing would've worked out a little better. So needless to say, I definitely want my mom here at Harper's birth, so she seriously can't come this weekend! I keep trying to remind myself that the Lord knows the desires of my heart, so I need to be confident in His timing! I'll keep you posted on my progress!
