I've had this couch on Craigslist for a couple of months, but so far, no one has followed through with their interest. We REALLY need to sell it to move some other furniture around. It would also be nice to get the money to pay for some furniture we need in our foster child's room. It's Pottery Barn, and has spent most of it's life in an office...not being used! Obviously, this post is for Dallas people, because I can't ship this thing! Either email me or leave your info in the comments if you're interested in it. We're asking $250 or best offer! It'd be perfect for an office or playroom!

Happy Father's Day!
Harper has such an amazing dad! Anyone who knows him would agree. I am so thankful that I married someone who loves me and our child well. He works incredibly hard during the day to provide, and then comes home to work equally hard as he invests in Harper. Such a blessing!!! I can't wait to see him in the role of foster parent very soon!
Corby, Harper and I love you so much!!!

Chick-fil-a put on a daddy/daughter date night last night. Harper was so proud of the crown and wand she received!!!

Harper's trip to Egypt
Harper participated in VBS this week at the church where she does MDO. She had the same teacher as during the year, so that helped with her anxiety of being left. She learned all about Joseph and told me the lessons each day. I was extremely productive with our foster care stuff during those hours...we're so close! I'm hoping we'll be verified by mid July! Here are a few phone pictures...

The goats were very popular! Harper loved them!

More of the fellowship hall that was decorated like an Egyptian marketplace

Holding the rope and headed back to her class with her friends

This picture was on the board outside her room. She now leans in with whoever she's taking a picture with! It cracks me up!

She made a necklace each day and loved wearing them!

Annalise is 6!!!
Two weeks ago, we went to St. Louis for the weekend. I was then in LR for another week, and our internet has been out this week... so I'm finally updating! Annalise turned 6, and we just couldn't miss it. I've been to every birthday but one, so I just had to be there. Harper had an absolute blast playing with her! It definitely made me wish she still lived here in Dallas. Her birthday party was at a cooking school at a grocery store, and Annalise had a blast! Overall, we had such a fun weekend together. They invited my mom to come too, so that was an added bonus.
Blowing bubbles together
Hanging out... please notice her Justin Beiber pajamas!
Poor Max... he endured so much with these girls!
Annalise with her KK and Laloy
Making puppy chow... so delicious!
Enjoying the birthday song
Annalise was so patient with Harper while
they played Barbies together!
Harper would eat anything that Annalise would feed her...
We definitely took advantage of this!
And then Annalise came downstairs with all of her hats...
So ridiculous!
Max got in on the fun
Looking fabulous!
These 2 were too much for me to handle!
I love my sweet Annalise so much!!!

Napping with her bear
When we got to my aunt's house for Mee-Maw's funeral, she had a bear for Harper and Eliana. Mee-maw had gotten them a while ago but never got the chance to send them. Harper loves it because it's soft, and I love it because it's from Mee-maw! She also loves to sleep with it!

Harper and her ABC puzzle
Harper got this puzzle for her birthday, and she LOVES it! She loves putting it together, and I quickly discovered it was a fun teaching tool! My favorite part is when I ask her to look at the letter with her eyes because she was simply guessing what letter it was... and she really takes a close look! She cracks me up!
Memorial Day Weekend
Better late than never, right? That's kind of my motto with everything right now! Tia and Uncle Mike came for the weekend, and Harper had a blast!!! She loves getting to be around family! We stayed pretty busy with some already planned parties, but we also enjoyed some time all together! Harper had a great time with everyone at the splash park. She convinced everyone to participate! Thank you, Tia and Mike, for coming to visit!!! We loved every minute of it!
She's so sassy!
Running through the circles...
something she wouldn't do on our other trips this week!
Having lots of fun!
Monday evening, we had a small party with our neighbors. It was so much fun letting the kids play together while the adults sat and chatted. Harper had a great time playing, but she really preferred to stand by the food table and eat chips all night! Once she was full, she chose to play in the drink bucket the rest of the evening. A good time was had by all!
She loved playing with the ice!
These were for a game,
but they quickly became a stethoscope and otoscope!
